પ્રેમાળ પિતા

થોડા હસમુખાને થોડા ભોળા પણ છે,
આજકાલ એ થોડા ચૂપચૂપ પણ છે,
આમ તો એ એકદમ શાંત છે,
ને ક્યારેક વાતોનો ખજાનો છે,
થોડા બાળક જેવા ને થોડા ગુસ્સાવાળા પણ છે,
એમના વિચારોથી એ ખૂબ મક્કમ છે,
મનથી થોડા હારી ગયા છે,
પણ જીતશે એનો નિશ્ચય કરી બેઠા છે,
દરરોજ સવાર કસરતથી શરૂ કરે છે,
મન થાય તો મળે એની સાથે ચેસ રમે છે,
નહીતર ટીવી સામે કલાકો વીતાવે છે,
કોઈ આવી જાય તો ખુશખુશાલ છે,
પણ એના જવાના ડરથી ભરાઈ જાય છે,
ચપલ વગર નીચે ઊતરે છે,
આવું છું તને મૂકવા રડતા બસ બેસી જાય છે,
કડક મારા પાપા મને જતાં જોઈ ખૂબ રડે છે,
જલદી આવજે બેટા ભરેલી આંખોથી બોલે છે,
શું તમારા પપા પણ કંઈ આવા છે?
