જ્યારે પણ જરૂર હોય સાથે જ દેખાય,
હંમેશા માત્ર પ્રેમ જ આપે એને પપ્પા કહેવાય.
કોઈ કંઈ પણ બોલે તો ચૂપ થઈ જાય,
હસતા હસતા સાંભળી લે એને પપ્પા કહેવાય.
આખી રાતો જાગી ચિંતા કરતા જાય,
બધા ખુશ રહે જે ઈચ્છે એને પપ્પા કહેવાય.
સસ્તી વસ્તુ પોતાના માટે શોધતા જાય,
બાળકોને ગમતી અપાવે એને પપ્પા કહેવાય.
ભૂલ ના હોય તો પણ માફી માંગતા જાય,
મોટું દિલ રાખી સૌને વળગી લે એને પપ્પા કહેવાય.
તબિયતથી હંમેશા ભલે ઝઝૂમતા જાય,
ઊભા રહે થાંભલાની જેમ પરિવાર માટે બસ એનેજ પપ્પા કહેવાય.
