કંઈક બાકી છે

રોજ મળીએ પણ રહી જાય વાત કરવાની,
છૂટાં પડતા જ લાગી જાય, કંઈક બાકી છે.
સાચું બોલતા જો શબ્દો અટકી જાય,
ને ઝૂઠ દેખાયા જ લાગે, કંઈક બાકી છે.
લખેલા પત્રોમાં ભારોભાર લાગણી છે,
જો તું ના સમજે તો, કંઈક બાકી છે.
વિશ્વાસ કરયો અતૂટ એકબીજા પર,
પણ જો પ્રશ્ન થાય તો, હજુ કંઈક બાકી છે.
હાથ પકડીને બેઠા હોઈએ જો સાથે,
ને ધ્યાન બીજે હોયતો, કંઈક બાકી છે.
પ્રેમનો સંબંધ ભલેને મજબૂત હોય,

પણ જો સાબિતી આપવી પડે તો, હજુ કંઈક બાકી છે.
