દીકરી

તારામાં હું જોઉં છું મને,
ને જીવું છું મારુ બાળપણ તારામાં દીકરી.
લાડ તને કેટલા લડાવું,
થઈ ગઈ પોતાનું ધ્યાન રાખતી મારી દીકરી.
ખુશ છું જોઈ સ્વતંત્ર તને,
અરે બનાવતી થઈ ગઈ રસોઈ મારી દીકરી.
લખે છે મોટી મોટી વાતો,
વાંચીને ઘણો આનંદ ઘણો થાય છે મને દીકરી.
જીદ કરે તો પણ મને ખૂબ ગમે તું,
પ્રેમ ખૂબ કરું છું તને મારી વહાલી દીકરી.
વાતો આપણી કદી ના ખૂટે,
સમય કેમ આટલો ભાગે છે અરે દીકરી.
જન્મ દિવસ કેમ તું મનાવે છે,
નથી ગમતું મને તું મોટી થાય મારી દીકરી.
સ્વાર્થી છું થોડી હું જાણું છું,
કારણ તું મારા કાળજાનો ટુકડો છે દીકરી.
