આમ કેમ પસંદ કર્યુ?

સાથે રહેવાના સો કારણ હતા
છતાં જતા રહેવાનું પસંદ કર્યું .

ખુલાસા કરી ખુશ રહી શકાય એમ હતું
છતાં અબોલા રાખવાનું પસંદ કર્યું .

જૂની યાદોમાં મજાથી રહેવાય એમ હતું
છતાં થોડીક ભૂલોને દિલમાં રાખવાનું પસંદ કર્યું.

વાતોને જતી કરી શકાય એમ હતું
છતાં વધારવાનું પસંદ કર્યું.

વિચારોમાં હંમેશા ભેદભાવ રહ્યા
અને ઘણું સાથે ચાલવાનું આપણે પસંદ કર્યું.

માફી માંગી અને માફી આપી શકાય એમ હતું
છતાં દિલ તોડી દેવાનું પસંદ કર્યું,
આમ કેમ પસંદ કર્યું?

  12. Change is never easy. It takes a lot more courage to let something go than it does to hang on to it. Letting go doesn’t mean ignoring a situation. It means accepting what is exactly as it is, without fear, resistance, or a struggle for control.
