મીત

વિનય વિવેકનું એક ઉત્તમ ઉદાહરણ છે તું,
સાકરથી પણ ઘણો વધુ મીઠો છે તું,
ખુશીથી ભરેલો પ્યાલો છે તું,
પ્રેમથી ભરેલો લાગણીનો દરિયો છે તું ,
દરેકને કિનારે પહોંચાડે એવું એક મોજું છે તું ,
નિયમોને દિલથી નિભાવનારો છે તું,
વડીલોને માન સન્માન આપનાર છે તું,
મિત્રોમાં કંઈક અલગ જ મિત્ર છે તું ,
બાળકોને ખૂબ પ્રેમથી સાચવે છે તું ,
જીવદયાને સમજનાર છે તું,
રમત ગમતમાં વધુ જ આગળ છે તું,
પપા સાથેની દલીલોનો ભાગીદાર છે તું ,
મારી એક જ નજરને પારખનાર છે તું,
પસંદ નાપસંદનું ધ્યાન રાખનાર છે તું,
દીદીની દિલની ધડકન છે તું ,
બધામાં કંઈક અલગ અને ખાસ છે તું,
કેમ જાણે સૌના મનને જીતનાર છે તું,
ગર્વથી કહી શંકુ છું મારો દીકરો છે તું,
ભગવાને આપેલું વરદાન છે તું ,
“મીત” સાચે જ ખૂબ ડાહ્યો છે તું.
