એક ક્ષણ નો વિચાર

એને ‘હા’ કહું કે એને ‘ના’ કહું,
જાણું છુ એ ચાહે છે દિલથી મને,
ચાહે છે એના કરતાં વધુ ધિક્કારે છે મને,
લાગણીઓ દર્શાવતા જીવન સવારે છે મારું,
પણ વિચારોમાં રમતી ઓ નીક્કી,
તારા વિચારોની કદર નથી તને,
એ ક્યાં છે એની ખબર નથી તને,
એ ભૂલે છે, એનો ખ્યાલ પણ નથી તને,
તારું ગાંડપણ તારા સુધી રાખ,
નહીતર ગાંડી બનાવી જશે તને,
એની ખબર છે ખરી તને?

Note:

This was the first poem that I had written. I was 13 and heartbroken. I can still feel the fire in these words. Such is young love.

Spoiler: we did end up together and it’s been a glorious journey ever since. ?
